Super UserDownload dataset (embedded report on external websites)
Hello everyone,
I'm working on a tableau migration and there is a pretty usefull feature in tableau
I have a report embedded on a website (this website is public) and people just have to click on a button and they are available to download the whole dataset used to build this report (in excel format)
I alreay achieved something like that but the report was embedded in a sharepoint site and I used a power automate to extract this dataset
Do you know if there was a way to achieve that in power BI without the use of Power automate (not sure that someone who is not registered can exectue a power automate workflow)

You can try the Export Data option.
The Export Data feature of Power BI allows users to download the data used in a report.
This is done by clicking the ellipsis (...) on the visual and selecting Export Data. This feature can be enabled for a visual when publishing a report.
