Download a report

Hi,   I want to download a report I am an owner of from Power Bi service online so that I can run the performance analyzer on it to get the DAX expression, it has the download button greyed out and...

    5. If the "Download" button is greyed out and you're unable to download the report due to it being a "System Report", it means that the report has been created and is managed by the Power BI administrator and it is not possible for you to download it.

     

    In this case, you may need to reach out to your Power BI administrator to request a copy of the report.

1. Download the Power BI Desktop application: You need to have Power BI Desktop installed on your local machine to download the report.

4. Run the performance analyzer: Once you have the report saved, open it in Power BI Desktop and go to the "Modeling" tab. Select the table you want to analyze and click on "Analyze Performance". This will run the performance analyzer and provide you with the DAX expression for the table.
