Download Usage Metrics Report PBIX

In the Usage Metrics Report, why is the option to "Download the .pbix file" greyed out?  I am the workspace owner/admin.  In all my research, the only thing I found was a "known issue" reported back in 2020...

    Hi Believer ,

     

    The Usage Metrics report can't be downloaded.  You can use your Power BI Desktop and connect to the Usage Metrics and then from that report you can do some work as a .pbix file.

      Greg_Deckler , Thanks.  I know this is an old blog post, but seems at one point it was possible.  My earlier reference to a "known issue" was incorrect... that issue had to due with Analyze in Excel.  DOwnloading the PBIX was explicitly ruled out, I must have read it too quickly.

      collinq  Bummer.  Perhaps they should remove the option from the menu in this case, instead of showing it greyed out as a "nanny nanny boo boo you can't do this..." LOL!
