Hello all,

I have some reports published to a premium capactity. When I download to my local machine from the service, and open the pbix there is a banner across the top to apply changes. If I click apply, all my queries disappear and break the visuals. Does anyone have 

any info on this and how to fix?

I have seen this when I am either not signed into Power BI Desktop or signed into Power BI Desktop with the wrong userid.  Other options are:

     Do you have the latest and greatest version of Desktop installed?

    Are there actually pending changes in the Applied Steps for one or more of the queries?

    Is there something in the report that uses a feature that you do not have turned on in your Desktop file?

    Are there custom visuals or metadata features you don't have on (like using R script)?
