OK, so I uploaded my pbix file today and it is working well on line. Went back to make one or two more tweaks to the pbix desktop and the desktop file then became corrupted. I've been pretty good...

There is a place in heaven for you! My pbix was on Dropbox and after I read your post I went back to check if there were prior versions. Sure enough! There are at least a dozen prior versions. I just went back to the version that I had saved only 15 minutes prior to the file getting corrupted and it opened without a problem.
Whew!!
