Advocate IDoes power bi service scheduler calls the REST API internally?
It uses its own scheduler and algorithms. You will notice that when you "schedule a refresh" that's not actually what is happening. Schedules are only possible at the top and the bottom of the hour yet the actual refresh start times can be a few minutes before, a few minutes after or very much later than the scheduled time. The internal process is smoothing all the requests out as needed.
Advocate IIm just trying to understand . Its really simple question does the PBI service schduler uses the Rest API internally to trigger refresh the dataset or it uses some other mechanism?
