Does embed code depend on the permissions of the user who generated it?

Hello,

I have created some reports and embedded them in a public site using Publish to Web.

This worked fine most of the time. But there was a short period that the site iFrames showed gray image with broken Power BI icon (to all users).

During that time I found out that my 365 password expired. When I set a new password the iFrames returnd to show the embedded reports.

Could it be that because I generated the reports,  if my user is ineffective the service blocks access of embed codes genrated with my user?

Barak

Hi @barakb321

Yes, when you have problems with your account, the reports you share to other users will be affected, after all, you are the creator of the reports.
