Does Query Reduction works for Power BI embedded, which is using direct query

Can we use Query Reduction Feature and PowerBI.preload() for the Power BI embedded dashboard where we use direct query?

Hi , @sandykools 

Query reduction Feature may not work for embedded  dashboards (  there is no options to apply slicer and filter  on the embedded  dashboard)

PowerBI.preload()  It works in theory. But the actual effect still needs to be tested

Thanks for your response, Eason @v-easonf-msft .

But when our dashboard is loading, we see same query is hitting the DB multiple times. As the webpage is waiting for all the 4-5 simlar queries to complete the execution, there is a time delay in page load. Also, we see all the SQLs generated are starting with Select Top (1000001). Is there a way to reduce the no. of SQLs issued to the DB, for PBI Embeded.

We were planning to implement PowerBI.Preload() function in our systems. As you said it still needs to be tested, I am worried if I can recommend this option to our management. 

Would you be able to provide me a reference or URL to any video, where this feature is demonstrated with an example.

Havent received any response in Dev thread. Is this a bug in PBI to trigger multiple and same backend queries for single PBI dashboard.
