Does Power BI log Q&A queries somewhere?

Hi all,

Does Power BI log all the natural language queries typed in the Q&A box on the dashboards with their timestamp? I am looking for a list of all such queries users hit on the dashboard(s) and get some understanding on what queries are common?

Hi @adityakuppa,

Based on my research, Power BI Service will not log the typed questions currently. But once you click the question box, Q&A displays a new screen with suggestions to help us form our question. The suggestions lists will contain:

1. Featured questions defined in the datasets.

2. The the questions used to create tiles that are already pinned to the dashboard.

3. Named of tables in underlying datasets.

So one work around to see the user's typed questions is let users pin the tile created from Q&A to the dashboard. For more information, please see this article: How to use Power BI Q&A.

@adityakuppa Power BI does not log the queries users had typed but you can always provide few suggestions and keywords for the users to type in the Q&A box so that the users preferably typed the same keywords as they see at the first glance.
