Do we need a Power Bi Paid plan to access shared reports?

One of our users wishes to open a report created on Power Bi, by a licensed Power Bi Pro user. The viewer though, cannot access the Shared Power Bi report and this email came in.

    Hello lexios ,

the best solution for you is to get him a power bi pro license, since he can't access the report without it,

    Hi lexios ,

Thanks for the fast and effective reply of ReneSchlegel  and Idrissshatila . The following are some of my supplements.

For the recipient to access the shared content, they also need to have a Power BI Pro license or Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) license, unless the content is hosted in a workspace that's in Premium capacity.

Sign up or purchase the Power BI service as an individual - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

When you use Publish to web, anyone on the Internet can view your published report or visual. Viewing requires no authentication. It should be noted that it is public and may expose your privacy data, please use it with caution.

Publish to web from Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

    Best Regards,

    Neeko Tang
