Do not see Dataflows with Member permission in Power BI Desktop

I have created a workspace which has several dataflows and datamarts. I have given a coworker Member permission to the workspace. When she is trying to access the dataflows using her Power BI desktop, she is seeing the workspace and datamart that is in workspace but not the dataflows. What am I missing?

Hi, @Sham_24

If your dataflow is stored in an Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 account, access may be restricted based on explicit authorization of the dataflow's Common Data Model (CDM) folder. Even members of a workspace need to be explicitly authorized to access the CDM folder of the dataflows in the data lake. For more information, see Configure and use dataflows:

Configure and consume a dataflow - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Make sure that the coworker's member role is set correctly in the workspace. Members should generally have access to dataflows within the workspace. However, if specific configurations or restrictions are applied at the dataflow level, this can affect visibility. Review the Admin permissions page for workspace settings and dataflows to confirm that there are no other restrictions.

Sometimes, a simple refresh or sign-back in Power BI Desktop resolves visibility issues. Ask a colleague to sign out of Power BI Desktop and sign back in to ensure that the latest permissions and workspace configuration are applied.
