Do I need gateway for published reports

Hello,

When you publish Powe BI desktop project to the service, you publish the data in the model to your workspace. A new dataset with the same name is created in workspace. I am using on-premises Oracle database connection. How can report refresh data from on-premises Oracle server? Do I need to install gateway and configure data source for the published report?

Yes, you will need to install the on-premise data gateway, and depending you may need to install the oracle client on the same machine as the gateway
