Disabling Download Pbix Button on Power BI Report

I have a Power BI report made on Power BI Desktop.

I need to publish it on a Workspace of whom I have a admin access but I don't want other admins of the workspace to download the same report.

Is there a way to acheive the same?

Hi, @amanchabra

If you are global admin or have been assigned the Power BI service administrator role, you may enable the 'Export data' feature for specific sercurity groups in the admin portal, which controls Analyze in Excel, export to .csv, dataset downloads (.pbix), and Power BI Service Live Connect features. It is a global feature which will apply to all workspaces.

Hi @amanchabra, @suneelrb,

unfortunately this is not possible. An Admin of a workspace can do anything with and inside that workspace. In order for you to have security on that report/dataset, you'll have to publish it to a different workspace.
