Disable a scheduled refresh for a dataset.

Hello all,

I wanted to disable the scheduled refresh for my dataset and was wondering how to go about it.

I have deleted the gateway and now the "Schedule Refresh" section is greyed out. I keep getting failure email notifications from PowerBI and would like it to stop. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks

  • Hey Anonymous ,

    unfortunately, you need a gateway.

For this, you might consider to install the gateway once again.

Then you have to connect the dataset to that gateway, finally, you can disable the scheduled refresh:

Fortunately, after 4 refresh-failures, the scheduled refresh will be paused.

Hopefully, this provides some additional insight.

    Regards,

    Tom

TomMartens  Thanks, that seemed to have worked!
