Disable Power BI Pro Trail Prompt
In our Power BI implementation we have both Power BI Pro and Non Pro users. One of the requirement is to restrict the ability of “Creating Workspace” only to limited AD user through security group.
We changed the tenant settings feature “Create Workspace” and restricted the feature to a group and also disabled “Self Service Signup “ for Power BI Pro in O365 through PowerShell.
When the Non-Pro user clicks on Workspace from the navigation bar and click “Create Workspace” I am expected the user to see “You don’t have permission to create new workspace” but the user is prompted to sign up for Power BI Pro Trail.
According to Microsoft documentation , disabling “Self Service Signup “ for Power BI Pro in O365 through PowerShell should disable the Power BI Pro Trial Prompt but it is not, is there any other setting that we need to consider changing.
thanks in advance

I would log a support ticket with Microsoft to look into this?- AnonymousNot applicable

According to this article. It is global level setting for many apps in O365. we cannot just turn it off for just Power BI Pro.
