Almost every time I navigate to the PowerBi Service, it shows that I have new notifications on the bell icon in the top right of the screen.
These notifications are almost always Microsoft Ads trying to sell me something. Lately, it's about getting 'certified in Fabric'. Does anyone know how to turn these ads off so I can easily know when there's a notification that actually requires my attention?

Hi @MattBossert,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum. Thank you @ibarrau, and @Deku, for your insights on this issue.
After reviewing the details you provided, I have identified few workarounds that may help resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:
Unfortunately, Microsoft does not provide a direct option to disable ads in Power BI notifications. However, there are some workarounds to minimize or manage these promotional alerts:
Although Power BI does not offer a specific "disable ads" option, you can manage your notification settings: Go to Power BI Service. Click on the Gear Icon (Settings) in the top-right corner. Select Settings. Navigate to Notifications or Preferences. Look for any settings related to promotional messages or marketing communications and disable them if available
Since Power BI is part of the Microsoft ecosystem, adjusting notification preferences in your Microsoft account may help: Sign in with your Power BI-associated Microsoft account. Look for Communication Preferences. Disable marketing or promotional emails and notifications.

Hi @v-kpoloju-msft
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately before posting here, I went through all of the notification settings and I did not see any options to disable 'Promotional Messages', 'Marketing Communications', or anything similar.

Hi. I'm pretty sure you can't get rid of that. It's not that frequent. Just ignore them or open and clear if you don't care about them.
Regards,
Happy to help!
Interesting, I get them multiple times a day, every day. I just logged in to the service again and sure enough, I had another one waiting.
