Direct Lake limitations

Hello

I have jsut started reading about Fabric and DirectLake.

I was looking at the DirectLake limitations section here:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/get-started/direct-lake-overview#known-issues-and-limitatio...

One of the items is:

  • DateTime relationships aren't supported in Direct Lake models.

what does this mean ? does this mean you can't link my orderdate field in my Orders table to the Date field on my Date dimension table?

Please can anyone explain

thanks

@msprog ,

You would be able to connect date fields which is having date type alone not with datetime format columns.
