Differences in visual componets between web app service and desktop app

Hello Community,

Since last week we are being reported that some of the components are displaying wrong at powerbi service. These components could be title labels, filters, components missplaced... Reports at the service are updated and some of them were not modified in months, yet now they are not displaying right.

We don't know what caused this, we suspect that this might be a powerbi update or premium area service trouble.

Here are some examples of this behaviour:

Desktop:

- Is displaying like it was before:

Power BI web app service:

- See the labels "nivel de servicio".

- "Peso" is now a list filter

Another example, again text getting truncated:

Desktop:

Service:

Best regards.

    Hi  rodrigo_callejo ,

    Update:

The issue has been fixed on the 19th.

Would you like to check if it’s normal in your side?

    Thank you very much.

    Best Regards,

  • We are experiancing the same issue. It seems that Microsoft have increased the marginds inside the visuals which is pushing titles and values down causing them to be cut off.

yes it is especiall noticeable and jarring if you have a background in your title. hopefully this can be reverted. or at least reflected in the desktop.

      top: desktop

      bottom: service

FYI this is still not fixed in Power BI Embedded, e.g. in the Power BI webpart in SharePoint.
