Difference between workspaces with Diamond icon and the regular workspaces

I was just wondering what is the difference between the workspaces with a Diamond icon and the regular workspaces.

 

Can we create an app with the regular workspaces ??

    Hi BishwaR ,

    You can have actually 3 types of workspaces, which are related to 3 different PBI Licenses:
    1. without diamond - usually PBI Pro license.
    2. with diamond and user - PBI Premium Per User license.
    3. only diamond - PBI Premium.

    Diamond icons have some additionall features like more data refreshes, XMLA endpoints etc.

    And yes - you can use basic non diamond workspace for PBI App. Just be sure everyone has also license to access it and you don't work on "My Workspace", which should be used only for your private projects.
