Difference between the two options to disable persistent filters

Hello, I am wondering... Which is the difference between, the don't allow persistent filters in power bi service (image 1) and load the power bi report, from desktop, with the option set to don't allow persistent filter (image 2)?

Is it that from power bi service is just set for the current user and when setting the option from desktop affects to all users? Or just, if you are admin of the workspace then you can do it from service?

Thanks a lot!

Hi @Anonymous ,

I think these two options provide the same functionality. If you have enabled this option in desktop, you would see this option in current report has been turned on when you check it on service. However, if you didn't enable this option when editing report in desktop, after publishing it to service, this option is turned off by deault, you could still turn it on on Service.
