Deployment Pipelines - differences between same reports in prod and dev with backwards deployment

Hello!

It is the first time I am using deployment pipelines in PowerBI. The production workspace was already existing, and I wanted to start and control development of the reports via deployment pipelines. (so just 2 stages - development and production)

So I had the production workspace with existing reports, the development one empty.

I decided to do a Backwards deployment to make sure the content of the dev workspace would match perfectly the production one, as a start.

However, once the backwards deployment was finished, I compared the 2 workspaces, and the system tells me that there are differences, and that seems to be mostly on data types.

Does any of you know what might be going on?

Thanks!

Kind regards

Valeria

Hi @ValeriaBreve

“the system tells me that there are differences“

Is there a specific screenshot of the prompt message for this statement? Please remove any sensitive data in advance.
