Hi I have a personal gateway installed which is just fine for a "normal PowerBI report"
However when I publish a paginated report I am getting this message, I have been looking around to try to find out how to fix it without mucg success has anyone else emcountered something similar?

Hi I had a personal gateway installed on my machine I installed a "normal" gateway and it works fine now. I did some more reading and found that paginated reports don't work with a personal gateway if using a direct query. I am sure this is common knowledge to many people but it was news to me!!
Hey @richanthony ,
this is admittedly a little weird. From my understanding your dataset is already leveraging the gateway. What is the data source of the Power BI dataset, and what is the data source of the Paginated report?
The other day, I was sourcing data from two reports, from what ever reason, I was using the port number in the connection details, for this reasone the Power BI Service is recognizing two different data sources.
Regards,
Tom
