Date range slicer did not show correct end date when passing parameters from embedded powerBI

Hi all,

anyone has idea how the date range works with embedded powerBI? When we pass the date range from embedded report APIs, it shows different behavior for 'FromDate' and 'EndDate'

https://playground.powerbi.com/dev-sandbox?showApi=reportSetSlicerState

The paramter is in UTC time, does it convert to local time in the report?

even there is a conversion to local time, 'FromDate' and 'ToDate' are not consistent.

e.g.  The date range is from

2014-10-12T11:00:00.000Z
to
2014-11-28T11:00:00.000Z

So they should either 12/10/2014 to 28/11/2014  or 13/10/2014 to 29/11/2014 as the time are the same.

    Hi,  kelvinngai

It's really weird. I tested it on my side and there was a similar situation. The result is a bit different from yours. I doubt whether this is related to my time zone or  my browser locale.

If you received any feedback for MS support engineer, please kindly share here.Thanks.
