Date format
- Anonymous5 years ago
Hi Anonymous
Your want to show date value in DD/MM/YYYY format in slicer in Power BI Service.
The issue is caused by a combination of the settings in the Power BI Service and the settings in your browser.
In this case, we are going to use chrome for the example.
By default, default English language in Chrome will use United States format (MM/DD/YYYY) to show dates in slicer.
Date format will be impacted by language region. So you will get result as MM/DD/YYYY instead of DD/MM/YYYY.
You can change language in Chrome as English(United Kingdom) to achieve your goal.
Don't forget to set the language setting in Power BI Service as (default browser language).
Restart your browser and date format in slicer will show in DD/MM/YYYY.
Best Regards,
Rico Zhou
