Date format will be US format after publishing ...

If you are hosted in US, it will always use US date format on Power BI Service. To workaround this issue, you can try to set the default language on Browser. Please refer to a similar thread below:

Probably a bit late now, but i had the same thing tonight, November 2022 in New Zealand. Perfect in PowerBI desktop, American when published.
I went into the PowerBI service > settings. (1) & (2)
Into General and Language > selected "browser default". (3) & (4)
It seems "english" from the dropdown list actually means "American English".
Setting it to browser default lets Chrome/Edge define how to show the data. If you're in a multi-national organisation like I am that definitely helps!
Hope this helps someone not spend hours looking like I did!
