Date format discrepancy in matrix

Hi All,

 

I'm facing an issue similar to this post (*), but whose proposed solution doesn't solve the problem.

 

  1. Power BI Desktop is set in English (USA)
  2. Still in Power BI Desktop, I have a dashboard where all the date fields are shown in dd/mm/yyyy format, as highlighted below

     

  3. My browser language is en-US
  4. These are Language Settings in Power BI Service
  5. After publishing, two date fields are in mm/dd/yyyy (according to browser settings), but one field seems to ignore browser settings and continues in dd/mm/yyyy as in PBI Desktop

     

  6. for sake of clarity, there is another dashboard in the same PBIX, where another column is formatted as below and doesn't produce, when published, the same issue of the other page

    Here's how I solved: I choose the date format below, instead of this

    Hi Anonymous 
    So the last time format displayed on the Service should be "MM-DD-YYYY", right ? Have you compared the difference between the normal column display and the abnormal column display in Desktop ?
    You can try to publish the report to the Service again, and then see if the time format is displayed normally. If it doesn't work, log out of the Service account, clear the browser cache, and log in again .

    Thanks for the quick reply. 

    I'm answering to your questions:

    1) So the last time format displayed on the Service should be "MM-DD-YYYY", right ? Yes

    2) Have you compared the difference between the normal column display and the abnormal column display in Desktop ? Yes, as I showed in pictures 2 and 6

     

    I tried to log out from the Service, clear the cache and log in again, but it's still not working.

     

    Is it a known issue from Microsoft?
