Date format changing after publishing to service.

Hi everyone, I'm facing a weird problem in my report. The date format is changing automatically when I publish the report to Power BI Service platform. 
I am attaching the snapshots below for both the cases 

This is as per power bi desktop and the format that is desired. 

Below is the format that I'm getting after publishing the report to service platform.

Can anyone please help me to sort this weird glitch? I want the date format as per power bi desktop snapshot in service platform.

The format should be same in the service as well, not sure why but can you apply custom format as follows and try

In Power BI Desktop, select the meaure or the column that you need to have the correct format, and in the format box of the Column tab, enter the text format as I have done above

@Fowmy Thankks for the response. I changed the format of the columbn in desktop and it's working fine now.
