Date format changes between Desktop and Service

Hello,

 

I have a date column set up to 'long date' in PBI Desktop (day of the week not included) but when I check the data in PBI Service, the date includes the day of the week as well. I don't want that.

 

Any idea on how to remove the day of the week in PBI Service?

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    It could be because of your browser settings. I assume you are using chrome. Can you check what language is selected in your browser and select the one that is relavant to you?

    Hi Kishore_Kadhir , thank you for your advice.

     

    I've changed the browser language however the issue persists, I can still see the day of the week in the PBI Service report.

     , Try to clear cache of PBIX fileGo to File-Options and Settings - Options , Under Global, select Data Load and select "clear cache" under "Data Cache Management Options" and select "clear cache" under "Q&A Cache Options" and select "clear cache" under "Folded Artifacts Cache Options". Then ,save and re-publish.
