Date Sorted Chronological Order based on initial

I want to sort the dates chronologically based on the initials of the months, like J for January, F for February, etc. I already have that column, but the problem is that every time I add it to a cha...

    See my blog post here, specifically solution 2 using Group By Columns:

    There is a PBIX you can download from that blog post to see how it's set up.

     

    Summary:

    1. Add a Month Number column if you don't have one already.
    2. In Tabular Editor, for the column Month Short Name, set Group By Columns & Sort By Column properties to Month Number.
    3. Also for column Month Name, set Sort By Column to Month Number.

    Note: You can also set the Group By Columns property in TMDL View but Tabular Editor is easier in my opinion.
