Hi BI Wizards,
I recently published my report with a date slicer (between) and did not apply any manual adjustments to ensure that the slicer always reflects the latest date. It works, but users have reported that when they change the date slicer, the Power BI service seems to cache their last setting. As a result, the next time they log in to the report, it does not automatically show the report with the latest date.
I found out a green button to reset to default setting but this increased another action.
Do you guys have any suggestion or workaround on this issue?
Thanks,
HY

As a developer you can prevent users from persisting their filter choices.
Should you do it? Absolutely not. Instead, teach your users to click on the "Reset" button that you "found".
