Sorting by another column works fine in Desktop and the service, but the same pivot table in Excel will not sort correctly. Is there an outstanding issue?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I figured out the issue. We have multiple sorting values for the same member value. Looks like PBI is selecting a random value as it's sort value vs using the Sort value within the group.
We have data that looks like this
Product Cat
Product, Product Sort
Cars
Door, 1
Radio, 2
Trucks
Door, 2
Radio, 3
Hi @rayishome ,
Yo uare going to have to be a bit more specific. What is the column you are trying to sort? What are you expecting it to look lik? What does it actually look like? What part of the field are you sorting on? Please provide some screenshots and more detail.
