Dataset: refresh time changed from 20 min to almost 2 hours with no change in the data

Hello, everyone.

I have my data on dataflows, which are working fine getting data from BigQuery once a day (each refresh takes around 15 min). Then I build dashboards using dataflows as a source.

Everything was working fine till last Saturday when the datasets started to take 2 hours to refresh instead of the regular 20 min.

No change was performed in the dashboard the uses this dataset. So I'm a bit conscious about what could be this problem (for pro accounts I heard the timeout for refresh is 2 hours, we're getting on the limit here) and curious whether someone else is facing the same issue since this weekend. Cheers!

Hi @ju_jacobowiski,

Did this issue appear on other data sources? If it only existed on bigquery datasource, I think it should more relate to the connection to bigquery.

For example:

1. Compatibility issue that due to api version upgrade.

2. Changes apply to credentials authorizations.

3. Network connection status from power bi datasets(azure blob storage) to data source.

Maybe you can contact to power bi team to trace the backend requests and verify status to get further support.

Regards,

Xiaoxin Sheng
