Dataset refresh takes a long time when connected to a dataflow

We have a Power BI Report that is connected to a dataflow and our dataflow refreshes quickly. But the dataset connected to our dataflow refreshes extremely slow almost to an hour. Meanwhile the transformational steps are already carried out by the dataflow so literally the steps on each of our query inside our data sets is just connecting to the dataflow.

What could possibly be causing this ?

Anyone else experience this issue?

We are on pro license btw.

Thanks in advance

Hi. I'm not a dataflow expert but I would say the size of the data can be an issue here or if you have multiple dataflows and datasets in the workspace refreshing at the same time.

I hope that helps,
