Dataset refresh setting only available for dataset owner?

Hey,

 

My colleague and I both would like to be able to schedule the refresh for reports. However, only the dataset owner can see and edit these options. This is not flexible when one is on holiday. How can we solve this?

 

We are both PowerBI Workspace and Gateway admins.

    Hi PowerDebi 

    This is a well-known limitation, and only by doing a dataset takeover will be possible to update.

     

    A possible workaround is having a technical account with email which is the dataset owner from which you both log in to manage the scheduling. Notice this has potential security risks.
