Hi team,
How can we know Breakup time for Datast refesh in Power bi Service..Let's say, Dataset has taken 7mins to complete refresh. So then how can we get breakup like how much is the query execution and PBI processing time.
Hi @Anonymous
In Power BI Service, getting a detailed breakdown of the dataset refresh time, such as the time spent on query execution versus Power BI processing, isn't directly available through the standard interface.
You can propose an idea about this, you can submit your idea by going to the link below.

Hi Bajigntrr
I'm not sure such a breakdown exists.
You can programatically retrieve the status of completed and ongoing refreshes: Enhanced refresh with the Power BI REST API - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
But I do not believe they offer a break down of what happens during refresh.
If you are concerned about refresh duration (although 7 minutes is not that bad!), you can look into Incremental Refreshes (Incremental refresh for semantic models in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn), and for more advanced cases, managing the individual partitions incl. bootstrapping (Advanced incremental refresh and real-time data with the XMLA endpoint in Power BI - Power BI | Micr...).
