Dataset refresh failure in Power BI service

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    Thanks for replying the actual issue here is the account used for creating gateway connection does not have previlages to execute select permission. After providing permission, dataset refreshed successfully.

Hi Ynr0225 ,

Ensure that the credentials used to access the data source are correct and have the required permissions. The error message mentions that the user does not have the required login rights to the database.

You can try deleting the dataset from the Power BI service and then republishing it from Power BI Desktop
