Dataset refresh failure - Dataflow is the source

I can refresh my dataset from the dataflow all day long on my desktop.  But, if fails almost instantly once published.     Of course, the message seems rather vague: {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline...

Please consider sharing more details about it. For example, what is the data source of the dataflow and where is it stored? Which connector are you using to connect to the dataflow?

    Okay.  Think I figured it out.  Will you please confirm?

    The Power BI Dataflow connector will use the gateway no matter the credentials used.  In other words, the account in the pbix doesn't have to match the account in the gateway (dataflow) entry.

     

    The (PowerPlatform) Dataflow connector will only use the gateway (when published to the service) IF the accounts match.  

     

    We do not like this requirement as both accounts have the necessary access/permissions.
