Dataset refresh fail -- There is no Available Gateway

We have a dataset that had been refreshing without issue  A couple of days ago it started failing with a message stating There is no Available Gateway.  the file hasn't been modified and the gateway is working for all other datasets.  The sources are multiple SQL server databases and an Excel file.  Any thoughts?

    When was the last time you updated the gateway? Whenever I have random issues like this, I start by updating the gateway if it's not already the latest version, it's magically solved issues for me more than once.
