Dataset refresh 30x slower in PBI Service vs. Desktop
What could be the reason why data refresh is so much slower in PBI service (15 min) vs. PBI Desktop (0,5min) ? It's very small dataset (5mb). Data source is REST API from SaaS service. This is the only dataset in workspace and the workspace is Pro.
Have you faced e.g. latency issues?
It seems that this started to work after a while. Still slower, but tolerable difference.

We've been having somewhat similar issues this morning as well. I refreshed a larger dataset in desktop that took about 15 minutes whereas the service refresh ran for about 4 hours before cancelling it. I'd assume some regions may have some latency issues currently.
