I made a report from scratch with a Odata feed and a Web feed.
After finishing it I publish it to our companies Online envrionment.
I go to the dataset settings and notice that I now have a Gateway connection. So I cannot refresh this report.
This is happening the last month, before this no problems at all.
Anyone have an idea

Solved. Did not know this but a Web datasource needs a gateway. Does not make sense to me but it is what it is.
Apparently a Web feed needs a Gateway connection. Did not expect this. Any way problem solved

Hi @pvravestein
“This is happening the last month, before this no problems at all”
So what was the data source corresponding to your dataset before last month ? Is this dataset refreshed in the service normally ?
Could you provide the screenshot for the dataset in Gateway connection ?

Are you merging the data from Onpremis source and Web together, if yes then you have to enable "Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster" option in Gateway setting. (Merge or append on-premises and cloud data sources - Power BI | Microsoft Docs)

Thanks for your reply but this is not the case.
Below is a screenshot from my datasource in PBI desktop
This is what I get in PBI ONLINE:
Gateway connection is on and datasource credentials is greyed out. should be the other around
Just to check I downloaded the report from online to my desktop and opened it. All datasources were correct and only showed the Odata and Webfeed. So problem must be in PBI Online in my opinion. See if I can call Microsoft for this.
Yes, as the file does not have any on premise data source, credenatils section should not be grayed out
Please raise ticket with Microsoft Support | Microsoft Power BI
