Dataset in services

If I delete the Pbix file on my Desktop  will my dataset in the cloud would be still working ?

Thanks

  • yes.  If your dataset does not have any incremental refresh data sources then you can also recover the .pbix file from the service.   If you do have incremental refresh then you can still pull the data and meta data via the XMLA endpoint.
