Dataset failed to refresh - Unable to convert a value to the data type
Hi Anonymous ,
It sounds like a common issue when your datasource fields changed and it not matched with stored data structure.
For this issue, you need to enter to query editor to fix data fields and republish to power bi service.

Hi, the scheduler ran without problem.
Quick question, after the schedule refresh the dataset.
Does user need to click the 'refresh' on the service report ?

Hi,
I'm sorry, another update.
Yesterday i've tried to manually 'push for refresh dataset because i want the report before the schedule time and i thought its the same as waiting for schedule refresh.
Apparently, it is not. The schedule refresh ran without a problem, however when i go into the report the 'new' data is not showing. Please see attached. It supposed to show 'last work day' which is 24.06.19.

Hi Anonymous ,
What type of datasource you used? Connection mode?
BTW, if your file is link to external data source, schedule refresh not get data from external datasource. It only get current file records instead refresh data from real datasource.(e.g get data from pbix file, excel file which link to other data source)
