Dataset credential error for the sharepoint source!

Hi all,

 

I am having problem with one of the pbix I'm working on. I am sourcing the data from the excel file which is uploaded to the sharepoint. I was able to get to the file and dataset using sharepoint folder connection and everything works fine at the Transform Data area, but once I publish the report to the service and try to fix the credential for the refresh, I get this error.

 

Now, I haven't got any similar error so far I worked with sharepoint source files so I got no clue at this point what's wrong!

Any help/guidance/point of contact would be very appreciated since this is holding my submission for quite some time.

    Hi there

    as the error indicates it says that the data source credentials need to be updated.

    You can do this by going into the settings in your App Workspace. then datasets.

    Click on your dataset, then under data source credentials click on Edit Credentials and put in a valid credential account.
