Dataset Refresh taking too long (almost 3 hours)
Hi all,
Time taken to refresh the dataset at particular time, it took 3 hours to complete and this was never happend before.
The issue was after 1:00pm and until just before 4pm none of the reports that use that dataset would open they would just have loading. Something unusual happened during that time frame, something we have not seen before. There were no issues or slowness on the database servers while it was happening. Would like to know what was the cause of the issue. Thanks in advance!

I have seen this happen in the past when for some reason there was something making refreshes slow in the PBI Service. I would wait a day or two and if it is still too slow I would then log a support ticket.
In the past it normally resolves itself.
