Dataset Refresh giving unknown error that Bing cannot find.

Attempting to refresh my dataset on powerbi.com is giving following error:

Processing Error:

An unexpected error occurred (file 'xmutiltm.cpp', line 332, function 'XMTMStorageFileHelper::CreateOrModifyStorageFile').

I cannot get a search engine to find a single hit on xmutiltm.cpp, nor XMTMStorageFileHelper.  😞

The dataset refreshes without issue on the Powerbi desktop.  I have no leads to what the issue is.  Anyone else encounter this error?

Is there a solution for this issue?  Just updated power bi personal gateway and this error is now happening.

I had that same problem yesterday. I redownloaded the gateway and the desktop version, refreshed the data, resaved the data, and it went away.  Hope this helps you as well.

I can confirm that the above method worked for me as well. When in doubt, re-install.
