Dataset Refresh currently 10x slower as normal
Hi, is there some maintenance going on @Microsoft Power BI?
we have an azure automation job that executes a partition refresh based on a webhook.
The graph below shows that the average execution time in seconds for the partition refresh spiked by an order of magnitude in the last two hours..
This is a huge issue for our business, as we currently prepare financial reports with a hard deadline.
Any estimate from microsoft on how long this service degradation will last?
Thanks!
btw... increasing the Capacity from A1 to A2 didnt change anything. deployment of new models is also effected.
problem solved. the issue was not microsoft maintenance. it was a poor performing query in the backend.
found the issue when running a full model refresh running into a timeout saying table x ... SQL Server ran into timeout.
