Dear community,
unfortunatetly I am not able to refresh my dataset from Power BI Service which loads data from a Sharepoint folder.
I have created and published the report and the dataset.
It says that I have to sign in for the files, but I don´t see any files in settings.
Do I need to configure a Datagatway?
Thank´s for your support! 🙂
Hi @Anonymous | @otravers could it be possible that a Data Gateway is required? This is the English Version of your screen. There appears to be an extra item between "Dataset description" and "Parameters" and something is grey out. If a Data Gateway is required it because you part of VNet or SharePoint is On-premise.
I am using SharePoint Online.
I think the problem is that the files are not displayed in the settings. Therefore I can not sign in..
The files are not going to be listed in the dataset settings, it's the overall connection to SharePoint Online that should appear, like this:
If you're using SharePoint Online you don't need a data gateway, other (i.e. SharePoint Server) you need the gateway.
