Dataset Access in Service

Is there a way to allow a user the ability to view a report in the service but not have access to the entire dataset.  I have limited knowledge on row level security - based on my understanding its used to limit data not completely restrict.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @CJANE,

Based on your description, you need to restrict data access for given users, only part of the data can be accessed, right?

If that is the case, the option for you is adding row level security to your report. Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI can be used to restrict data access for given users. Filters restrict data at the row level. Please refer to the links below to see the details.
