Datarefresh failure on Premium EM SKU

We have a Premium EM SKU and recently have seen a lot of datarefresh failures. We were doing 4 daily incremental refresh and when we saw the error went down to 1 daily incremental refresh (not sure if that was wise). Is the data refresh limit a per day value or a per transaction value?

Any ideas/ suggestions what we can do to reduce the dataset refresh size and come under the dataset refresh limit?

You could make sure that your tables and columns only have got the columns that you need.

Also make sure you are using the right data types for your model.

If it still fails refreshing because it runs out of memory when doing an incremental refresh you might need to have a largers EM SKU when refreshing?
