I opened an existing datamart today (in Workspace A) that had data sourced from our Gold Lakehouse (in Workspace B). Refreshes are working daily great and data is besing updated.
I needed to add a new table to the datamart from the same lakehouse, so I hit Get Data, only to discover that only Datamarts and KSQL databases are selectable in the "OneLake" section of the data sources. I then tried to create a new datamart in the same workspace as the source lakehouse, but I got the same results.
Notice the filters at the top only list Datamarts and KSQL.
Did something change? Or am-I missing something?
Thank you
Thank you Albert for this info. It helps to know this does not affect all users.
I am a Fabric admin in my organization and I have admin role in all workspaces. I do not know of any configurations that allows to limit the type of datasources for datamarts.
I have opened a support ticket (SR 2312150040004950) and someone is looking into the issue.
Thanks
Hi @JFTxJ ,
We tried to reproduce the problem ,but we were unable to reproduce it. Here are my screenshots:
Based on my understanding, there might be a restriction or a change in the settings that is limiting the data sources available to you. You can also check if there have been any updates or changes in the permissions or configurations that could be causing this issue.
